Lake County Baptist Church believes in grounding our youth in the Scriptures and the AWANA program helps us do just that. Our AWANA program meets each Wednesday night, from 6:45 - 8:30pm and has classes for every child from age 3 through senior high students. The program is filled with Scripture memorization, Bible lessons, singing and lots and lots of games. Students are challenged to memorize their weekly portions of Scripture, handily printed for them in special AWANA handbooks. Each student can earn patches for the AWANA vests and shirts, end-of-the-year merit awards, and can even participate in AWANA's regional activities. Special AWANA activities include Family Nights, the AWANA Grand Prix, Sparks-A-Rama, and much, much more.
